Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin II (1969 US First Pressing) Authentic Double "RL" Robert Ludwig Hot Mix

Matrix side one: ST-A-691671 BO LW AT RL SS W

As mentioned above,

Up for sale is a genuine, double RL pressing of Led Zeppelin II (Atlantic – SD 8236). Both sides feature the Robert Ludwig mastering runout etchings:  RL SS

I’ve had a few of these over the years..The RL mix has a reputation for a reason. The sound is the most dynamic I have heard on any vinyl recording. The dimensional effects, the presence of Plant's voice and the punch of the drums are unlike any record I have heard. Oh yea, the guitar comes out particularly awesome as well! I recently found a copy in EX condition, so am selling this one.

Please read the condition breakdown below carefully before purchasing:

Vinyl Condition: VG (Very Good)

• Visual: The vinyl retains strong original factory gloss/shine across both sides. There are numerous light hairline surface marks and paper scuffs, as seen in the last pics, but no deep (or any) actual scratches.

• Audio: Play-tested all the way through with zero skips or jumps. Surface noise is present in the lead-ins, quieter passages and between tracks. In the louder sections it remains strictly in the background or disappears entirely — it is audible in softer moments, but it never competes with or overpowers the music during full-band passages.

• Labels: Excellent, vibrant colors with no spindle wear/trails (side 1 label is slightly mis-aligned)

Jacket Condition: VG/VG+

• Front Cover: Looks good, some very light spotting, with minimal shelf wear.

• Back Cover: Very Clean

• Inner Gatefold: Very vivid and colorful. No marks or stains.

• Seams/Edges: Fading and wear along the spine/creases, and an approximate 3” seam split along the top back edge where the vinyl inserts.

• Inner Sleeve: Includes the original Atlantic company inner sleeve in faded but good vintage condition.

Shipping & Packaging:

• Vinyl will be removed from the jacket during transit to prevent any further seam splitting in a new anti-static sleeve..

• Shipped securely in a professional, sturdy cardboard record mailer with extra bubble wrap/cardboard stiffeners.

• Fast shipping with full tracking and insurance included.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like additional photos of the deadwax/matrix etchings.

*Records have been given a basic cleaning, but I would recommend a proper cleaning to get even better sound and performance!

  Thank you
