This is the coveted US first pressing of Led Zeppelin II featuring Robert Ludwig’s “hot” mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. It has RL on both sides and SS (Sterling Sound)on both sides.
Has name written in pen on label side 1 and back cover bottom right.I’ve had multiple copies of this rare LP but this is the nicest one I’ve seen. I played the whole album thru and there are NO skips or hangups. There is one small scratch that caused a pop or tick between track 3 & 4 on side 2. There is some surface noise that is more evident between tracks and during quieter passages, but overall a very enjoyable listen!
