DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- Led Zeppelin II 2. Scarce contract pressing with "The Lemon Song" to label and sleeve. The labels have an extra pressing ring from the standard variant. Early plum/red label UK copy with hand etched matrix ending A/B. Lighter brown gate fold sleeve and original poly lined inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 198 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen. Visually this is around EX if not EX. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on turntable. Plays EX generally. Music is clean, clear and loud. A really powerful sound. It has a faint trace of background sound between tracks but that is about it. It does skip once for a split second in the intro to "Whole Lotta Love". I cant see why it does this. The rest plays great, one of the best sounding copies of LZ 2 i have had. Obviously light brown cover is in better than average shape. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and only light creasing. Inside to gate fold is really clean- please check out the photos. White inner is in Excellent condition. It is clean with only light wear and no splits. Poly is still fully attached. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
