This is the now legendary Livin' Lovin' Wreck version of Zeppelin's second album - the very first version to roll off the press in 1969. This copy is still in good condition, but please note this listing is based predominantly around the rarity and historical value of this item - Not on out and out audio quality. Matrix A2/B2. The label holds two particular track names that are only present on the very first version of this album 'The Lemon Song' and most significantly the track 'Livin Lovin Wreck'. I won't insult your intelligence any more - if you're aware of the version I don't need to go into anymore claptrap! The record comes housed in its original light-brown E.J.Day printed cover and 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' lined inner sleeve.
Vinyl (VG-) Looks to have seen a reasonable amount of use. Under close inspection there are a number of light and moderate marks. So, how does it play....? Well, it rawks big time...seriously heavy weight sound. Red & Plum copies are awesome and this copy is no exception. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERY GOOD level of playback. The audio comes across with serious power, but there is a good bit of low-level audio interference so audiophiles beware. I think it still represents a very enjoyable listen providing you are not overly fussy. All tracks play VG with the following deviations....Ramble On . Whole Lotta Love ..Lemon Song ...Thank You . So, once again be aware that whilst very playable this is not suitable for someone expecting great audio purity...
Cover (VG) This is the original light-brown cover with faded green spine. If your copy isn't light-brown it isn't the original! This example has seen a fair bit of wear and tear, but is still in pretty solid condition.  The spine is well worn, but still intact. There's a one inch seam split on the rear at the bottom right, but nothing overtly intrusive or obvious. The cover still lies nice and flat and there's no sign of water damage or writing, or anything like that.
Inner (VG+) Light ageing and no rips or tears.
