Description

The very first of the 1st pressings of Zep II from 1969 on UK Atlantic. Matrix A2/B2. The record comes housed in an original light-brown cover with spine fading to light-green which is indicative of 1st issue. Also included is the original 'plastic bags' warning inner sleeve.
Vinyl (VG+) Still remains in very respectable condition, but has clearly seen a reasonable amount of use. Under close inspection there are numerous light marks, but none are what I would call troublesome or feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERY GOOD+ level of playback. Yes, there will be some light static occasionally audible in the quieter sections, but by and large it is never what I would call invasive. Zep II is loud and these early copies have a weight of sound like no other - you can almost feel it it's so heavy. Dynamics and detail are also there in abundance too so it's not just the volume you get to appreciate! So, I can highly recommend this copy based on what I feel is a very decent rendition in deed.
Cover (G+) This is the original light-brown cover with faded green spine. The spine is well worn, but is still intact. There is significant edge wear, but the fascias are still in pretty decent condition. Please note on the front cover there are the remnants of some writing below the clouds - One of the photo's zooms in on this.
Inner (Ex) No splits and only light ageing.
