This LP offering is the uncategorized U.S. Monarch pressing from sometime in the early 70's. The discography site has this particular copy listed without a year, probably because it combines elements of a 60's original pressing (Jacket/Inside jacket address of 1841 Broadway/Period correct inner sleeve-nothing before 1970) and elements of a mid 70's pressing (Monarch Pressing/Rockefeller Plaza address on record label/Set of matrix numbers in the runoff groove/No distinct mastering engineer's initials in the runoff groove).
So there you have it, what is it? Our guess, definitely a repress and 1973 to early 1975 because of the address on the record label. Only Atlantic knows for sure. Maybe they used the original stamper with the updated labels.
Whatever your preference, this is a sound copy. The matte jacket is graded a solid Good+, there is edge, spine and corner wear.
The record was cleaned on a Loricraft Audio Professional Record Cleaner. We play graded most records and this one is always a pleasure to spin. We grade it VG, there is surface noise evident throughout the record, though we have heard much worse. It mostly plays clean and loud!
