The RAREST version of this landmark album . ONLY a very few were issued with the blatant error on the labels with the track Livin Lovin Maid miscredited as Livin Lovin Wreck (mistaken for the Jerry lee lewis number) and was soon rectified. These are the TRUE first pressings of this awesome release and albums that do not have this miscredit are strictly second pressings at best. One MUST HAVE album for the serious Zep collector!

One of the most exciting discoveries that you will ever come across in the vinyl world . Impossible to locate in this superb “COMPLETE” condition . Found with mega rare Head hunters inner sleeve and the original first light brown gatefold sleeve.
First issue light brown opening gatefold sleeve. These were the genuine , earliest album sleeves as the later editions grew darker in coloration from mid to the darkest of sienna browns, almost black in colour. This album light brown sleeve is the earliest gatefold presentation renowned for its fragility , owing to its unlaminated external covers. This sleeve is quite exceptional in its condition and is better than many. There is some fading on the spine due to its exposure to sunlight. Some lower/upper edgewear, corner scuffs but spine remains square and solid unlike most that got crushed and damaged . Outer faces are in wonderful condition with hardly any ring wear visible , a quarter of a revolution on reverse only, and just some age spotting in places on main front face. Not much feathering at all on opening edge and quite lightly handled. Inner blue/green faces are excellent with only a slight rub towards the upper extremity, and consequently portrays no surface damage . A superb , hard to find VG+/EX- earliest , first issue album cover .Fantastic example!
Inner sleeve
Mega rare Head hunters with just two seam splits visible and some discoloration from glue ageing on internal folds . Poly lining still complete and in tact with no rips or tears. Holding tight to the inner sleeve, this is a wonderful exhibit proving very collectable and highly sought after in the collectors’ world. Unfaded black and white inks, advertising other rock artists/groups of that era , proves this inner to be of extremely good quality and to find this elusive sleeve with one of the rarest zeppelin album releases is quite unbelievable!
Audio
Exceptional aural delivery, so rare to find on this miscredited album release . For the most part, an excellent audio, impossible to find nowadays even on the later releases, so do not underestimate the value of this vinyl. Transmits with a beautiful warm punch and a definitive edge that only these first UK pressings can give . Some surface on the final track, side one but tones rise above any surface disturbance to deliver a truly superb sound from this monumental release!
Labels
Plum/Red label format with the mega rare miscredit of Livin Lovin Wreck, proving virtually impossible to find. Lemon Song listed on label also confirming the very first pressing of this awesome rock classic. Excellent condition. One side has a slight residue from a sticker but has not lost much of its colour! Otherwise, excellent with only a light spindle trace.

Beautiful visual . Extremely light surface only if angled against a strong light. Very pleasing cosmetically with a deep, gloss on surfaces. Thick quality press which gives a buzz when held .
A dream collectors’ item to kick off the New Year . Impossible to locate COMPLETE with the mega rare Head hunters inner sleeve, rare in its own right and so hard to find . Not to be missed in this superb condition. Highly sought after and highly collectable . True investment quality and a priceless piece of vinyl history .
