Description
This is the Pitman pressing of Led Zeppelin II, with the RL SS etching on both sides, indicating that it has the "Hot Mix" mastered by Robert Ludwig. Only a few hundred thousand records of the hot mix were pressed before it got recalled, so it is relatively rare. The gatefold sleeve has a Gold Record award sticker, some small puncture holes in top left corner, a bottom split (fixed with tape). The record has scratches on both sides (causing a crackle usually drowned out by the music) and a small skip during the beginning of "Heartbreaker," so I would consider this as being G+/VG- condition. The original (non-Atlantic) paper inner sleeve had a split at the bottom, so I included an "Invest in Vinyl" polysleeve for protection. If you pick this record up, you won't be disappointed by how awesome it sounds.
