Led Zeppelin II Atlantic Records, SD 8236, 1969, Broadway Address Original US First Press, Bob Ludwig "Hot Mix", RL and SS on Both Sides SUPER RARE
The HOLY GRAIL of Zeppelin releases. This is the heavily sought after Robert Ludwig mix that was too hot and punchy for 1969 stereo equipment, and because of that, recalled. There are rumored to be less than 50,000 that were originally sold, and probably less than 1/3 of that still in circulation today. Tiny numbers for a record that has sold tens of millions by this point.
Original first pressing on Atlantic Broadway labels. VERY RARE!!! Please see my other listings for more RARE Zeppelin, rock originals, and other kick butt records...i combine shipping. All records are shipped outside the sleeve in protective poly sleeves, in sturdy LP mailers, with cardboard filler boards.
Condition:
Vinyl: LP is (VG+) original gloss, clean labels, has some light surface marks, that may cause some light background noise
Jacket: (VG+ to VG) beautiful art, no heavy wear of any kind, lightest bit of shelf wear, and 1 1/2 inch tiny split on the top-right of the back seam lowers grade (see pics with zoom)

ATTENTION: Many have asked for a play grade. I would still grade this VG+ all day. The playback was loud and gorgeous with minimal to no background noise. Only thing to note was a slip about 2 seconds into the first song on side one...after that playback was STUNNING!!!
