Description
This is a sealed original copy of Led Zeppelin II, Atlantic Records, catalogue number SD 8236, which includes hype sticker for "Whole Lotta Love" on the front cover and sticker listing album tracks on the rear of the cover. To my knowledge all first pressings of this title were issued in this same textured light brown cover with the front cover hype sticker and track listing on rear of the cover.
Although the LP is sealed, the wrapping is open about six inches at the mouth of the cover and about 6-7 inches on the bottom of the cover. There is some loss of color on both sides of the gatefold cover at the bottom where the shrink is open due to rub wear but there are no seam splits. The corners on the left top and bottom of the cover are excellent. There is slight wear at both corners near the mouth of cover. However, overall it is a very clean cover.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the LP is returned still sealed.
