Led Zeppelin - II - SD 8236 - 1969 Vinyl LP - Ludwig Hot Press - RL In Deadwax Led Zeppelin II SD 8236
Original 1969 US pressing of Led Zeppelin's "II" LP on the Atlantic label. Original "Broadway" labels. The initials "RL" are present in the deadwax of both sides.
Grading: Sleeve: VG Solid, light shelf-wear, no splits, legible spine Vinyl: G Decent player, but is covered in paper scuffs and some marks which cause light background noise throughout - however the RL mastering cuts through loud & clear
Around 200,000 copies were pressed featuring Robert Ludwig's 'hot mix' which caused some poor-quality phonograph needles to jump due to the higher levels of low end. This prompted a re-pressing of the LP, limiting the frequency response. These pressings are identified by the presence of the initials "RL" in the deadwax.
All LPs have been cleaned and will be sent in LP mailers.
