Description
Purchased by myself when first released in 1969 . Who new 45 years on this would become one of THE classic rock albums.
Turns out that this disc I bought back then has all the ingredients that now make it the more desireable disc to own,
Tech info goes as follows.... earliest possible Atlantic 588 198 - 1969 uk first pressing with the A2/B2 matrix. Red/Plum label with the short lived 'living lovin wreck' print error on the label & gatefold. Also 'lemon song' shown on label & sleeve, corrected later to 'killing floor' & has the light brown 1st issue gatefold sleeve.
The disc still plays well, with very few pops & crackles here & there and one very minor skip about a minute into track 1, nothing too serious to interfere with the listening experience, all the "quiet" sections are really "noise" free.
The gatefold outer sleeve front & back shows some wear, with the inner left & right faces looking pretty good. Item will be shipped in a sturdy package.
