LED ZEPPELIN III on 200g Quiex Vinyl in heavyweight die cut sleeve with spinning wheel. HAND SELECT OPTION ( note, these are not sealed, but inspected by Classic Records Staff to ensure that there are no visual defects on the record playing surface and to ensure that the records are perfectly flat and worthy of the Classic Records 200g label)

Quiex SV-P - High quality analogue mastering from the original master tapes

This is a 200 gram high-quality and super quiet LP pressing from Classic Records as part of their 'Quiex-SVP' series. In contrast to many CD and LP releases that are mastered from fifth or sixth generation copies, Classic used the original master tapes and cut the album using their all analog and tube amplified mastering process; allowing every conceivable detail and nuance from the original recording to be translated to this pressing.

Condition: MINT Sleeve, Mint Vinyl.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

I have played this myself to test the LP and to confirm the "Play Grading" (using my Clearaudio Performance SE with Maestro Cart) as some Classic Records do have some pressing faults. It plays superbly, very quiet vinyl, no ticks or pops and it sounds like no other Zep III I have every heard, really superb sound quality. However, there is a part of "Thats The Way" where there are 4 quick ripping/scraping sounds, which indicates that there was no in-fill of vinyl in the groove, (or that the stampers was pulled away too quickly at the manufacturing process and the original vinyl was sticky enough to pull out of the groove).

If you can live with this little imperfection, you'll love this pressing. I have described this as best I can, based upon information received from vinyl experts, but I want the buyer to be fully aware that this is NOT a Faultless copy. (so much for Hand Select, but to be fair to Classic Records, there is nothing at all to see on the vinyl surface).
