Description

This is an early UK reissue of Led Zeppelin's classic third LP. It was released on the Atlantic label, with the catalogue number K50002. Etched in the run-out grooves on Side One it has: "Do What Thou Wilt" and 2401002 which, interestingly, was the catalogue number given to the original release. On Side Two, 2401002 has also been stamped. To confuse matters (!) K50002A and K50002B is also stamped in the run-out grooves of the appropriate sides. I wonder if this is a transitional pressing, from when the catalogue numbers changed over? There is some additional information that appears in the run-out grooves, which I may need a magnifying glass to read (!). If you would like to know any additional matrix information while this listing is 'live', please send me a message. I've taken close up photographs of part of the matrix area on Side One and they appear as the fourth and fifth pictures of this listing. I hope you can read "Do what thou wilt" and "2401002" respectively but, if you can't, please be assured that they are present.

The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition, with the 'rotating wheel' present and working. The spine of the sleeve lists the catalogue number as K50002.

I would grade the disc as being in Excellent- condition. This is a very interesting item indeed.
Many thanks for viewing this listing. Please note that payment by Personal Cheque will only be accepted from buyers in the UK. If you are in the UK and you pay by cheque, the item will be sent to you after the cheque has cleared.
