Led Zeppelin - III

(Atlantic 2401-002 UK LP 1970)

 

This is a UK original LP pressing. This is the quite rare "Celebration" mispress. The sleeve is manufactured in Germany. The vinyl is manufactured in the UK. This is the case with all "Celebration" mispressings.

It has a fully laminated die-cut gatefold sleeve. This has a movable cog wheel. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. 

The record has "red & maroon" Atlantic labels & A-5/ B-5 matrix stampers. "Do What Thou wilt" and "So Mote It be" are etched in the dead wax. Side 1's label miscredits the song "Celebration Day" as simply "Celebration". These are quite rare.

 

Sleeve: The movable cog has come loose from its centre support. It still rotates though. Otherwise some mild wear only. VG+ condition.

Vinyl: Sadly this is a very well played copy. There are lots of sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a fair few light hairline marks. Good condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall. Really well considering! There is some light crackle in some quieter passages.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
