Description

Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

Here's your chance to win this massively rare and nearly impossible to find Led Zeppelin LP ( in any condition !!! ) This extremely rare record album is very interesting for many reasons ;

Only a few Lebanese pressed records had their original sleeves printed there, most of them (such as this one here ) were imported from the mother companies in Europe or the US. This one is fully laminated, it was printed and made in England by the E.J Day group London and Bedford.

The gatefold cover with the rotating wheel is in VG+ condition or better. The wheel seems to be off center, since i'm not an expert i won't try to fix it. The surfaces are very clean, there's no writing, stickers, tears or anything visually disturbing at all. There's a bit of laminate lifting on back (see pics) in shapes of lines. No peelings, seam splits. Very strong spine and near perfect corners. No visible signs of shelf wear.

The record was play graded entirely, it played very well and sounded great throughout, it is in very strong VG+ condition. The vinyl has some visible superficial marks due to age and playing that cause some audible background clicks during soft acoustic parts, nothing seriously disturbing.

The matrix numbers in run-off areas are similar to the original UK first press release.

Due to this album rarity i have set a GBP 75 reserve price.
