After the explosion created by Led Zeppelin I and II the previous year, this set had rock fans eagerly awaiting its release in the Fall of 1970. Producing the elaborate die-cut/pinwheel album cover artwork insisted on by the band delayed getting this album to its anxious public. Fortunately, Led Zeppelin III lived up to expectations and was the next step on the path of success for the biggest rock band of the 1970s. Mastered and cut by Bernie Grundman in Hollywood from the original 2 track stereo masters obtained from Jimmy Page as part of the legendary Classic Records reissue of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog now long out of print. Considered by most as the definitive vinyl versions (Approved by Page) the Classic Led Zeppelin reissues continue to increase in value and ever harder to find. Pressed on Classic's 200g Super Vinyl Profile for maximum fidelity!
