DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4,  ZOSO, Untitled . 1ST UK pressing with second red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Top), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B3 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include tracking and top quality packaging.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. It has a few light hairlines and some brushing lines that have little effect on playback. Played all of this today on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds overall a very decent VG, Side 2 is probably closer to Excellent.  Music is clean, clear and loud.  On Side 1 there is a small mark mainly in the dead wax between "Rock and Roll" and "Battle Of Evermore". This causes a click for a couple of revolutions in the intro to "Evermore" but soon clears. "Stairway To Heaven" has just a few ticks in the intro and a trace of background sound in the quietest passages.  Gate fold cover is a reasonable, lower end VG. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and light creasing. The inside of the gate fold is really clean.   Delicate inner sleeve retains fantastic shape. It has absolutely no feathering at all to the opening edge. It is firm and square and has 2 very short splits to 2 sides and a lengthy one to the bottom edge. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
