Description

DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . 1ST UK pressing with third red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Hop), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/G. . Vinyl is clean with a lot of hairlines,  brushing lines and surface lines. Played majority of this today (including all of side 1) on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds generally not too far off VG.  The louder fuller tracks play well. The quieter passages have some background sound and ticks - most noticable in "The Battle Of Evermore".  "Stairway To Heaven" has a repetitive tick. "Going To California" and side 2 generally play cleaner. Music remains loud and prominent throughout. Gate fold cover is in just about acceptable condition. It is firm and square and has moderate to heavy edge wear (cellotape repairs to top- and bottom rear edges), heavy corner wear and moderate creasing.  The inside of the gate fold is clean.   Delicate inner sleeve is showing its age with feathering and a tear to the bottom edge, absolute splits to all 3 sides. Its just about in one piece, think of it as a gatefold inner, that what it looks like..  Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. All postage costs include top quality packaging. . PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER  METAL/PUNK/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
