Description
From a private collection, a very nice copy of Led Zeppelin IV. Cat. No. 2401012 Deluxe
This is the sort after 1971 Red & Plum Label. Hard to find now. The Vinyl is VG++ to Ex- the quiet tracks have some wear, but the rock tracks are spot on. Sonically the whole album sounds great. These early pressings really do make all the difference to the sound.
This label has Led Zeppelin in the top half & NO Peter Grant credit, matrix A/3 B/4
The inner sleeve has been replaced along the years with a later edition inner sleeve, has some sellotape on the edges. The inner sleeves were notoriously flimsy made from an almost blotting paper, very fragile. So even this later edition has done very well to survive relatively intact!
The main gatefold sleeve is Ex- with a sticker removed from the back.
