A truly stunning Near Mint condition Plum / Red pressing of ‘IV’, Cut by George 'Porky' Peckham (As evidenced in the run off – see pics) The audio on this recording is truly outstanding the spindle hole is still ‘tight’ when placed onto the spindle and displays a small film of ‘pushed through’ vinyl which can usually only be found on records that have received very little play. This copy comes complete with its original rare rough textured flipback inner sleeve.. CONDITION:

A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Thorens TD-124 MKII with an SME 3012 Tonearm and Ortofon SPU moving Coil Cartridge.

Record:
The surfaces feature a full glossy lustre under direct angled light. The disk is flat with no warp or buckle of any kind. Very minimal light paper scuffs (Consistent with the record being removed and replaced within the rough textured inner) NO feelable scuffs, scratches, blisters or anything that can be ‘felt’ or heard during playback (Please listen to the above recording taken from the actual disk for sale). The Red / Plum Atlantic labels show no signs of use to the spindle hole, in fact the spindle hole is very tight when placing the disk on the turntable a clear sign that this disk has received very minimal play. There are no spindle marks, colour fading, writing, or other detractors – The labels are MINT. Condition grade visually = Near Mint Aurally = Near Mint. I have listened through both sides keenly to arrive at the grade of Near Main. Please take the time to study the images above and listen to the sound clips which I hope illustrate the condition of this record far better than wordy descriptions

Cover:

The unlaminated Gatefild cover has retained it’s original colour, the edges / seams are absolutely arrow straight and the corners sharp and true. The spine is unworn and the opening edge is razor sharp and un feathered. The unlaminated back cover still retains it’s full colour there is a small area of surface loss top right caused by sticker removal…No, writing, stickers, seam splits or tears. The inside of the gatefold is superbly clean no detractors what so ever Condition Grade = EX+ (Excellent Plus) Please take the time to study the images above for a clear view of condition

Inner Sleeve:

The Dark grey, textured flipback custom inner is in superb condition with a very light 4mm split to one seam, this is very clean and could easily be repaired. There is no writing, rips, stickers, folds, stains or colour loss what so ever. Condition = EX (Excellent)
