PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

WILDLY rare US Atlantic SD 19129 Columbia Record Club (CRC) pressing from 197? with CRC text in the white strip under STEREO on the middle left hand side of the label and the bottom left hand corner on the rear cover!!!  I have had well over 150 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but I have never seen this variant before.  EVERY CRC pressing I have ever seen has had the CRC text in the lower red colored area on the label.  I trudged through the seemingly endless variants listed in Discogs for a couple hours trying to find anything that even slightly resembled this pressing and come up empty.  Anyone with any info on this one please contact me as I'm stumped.   Rare as hen's teeth, this one.  LP includes original matte 2 color printed inner sleeve with complete Stairway lyrics!  LP is a gorgeous VG++ and cover is a beautiful VG++ as well.  You will not be disappointed.


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:   MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
