Description
Original UK Atlantic red & plum label stereo 1st press issued in Nov 1971, with the 'Misty Mountain Top' label error, but with all the correct credits on the 'Variant 5' labels (see Discogs.com for details, pressed in late Nov/early Dec 1971)! The matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some edge & corner wear on the outer cover. The spine is worn, but intact and fully readable, the plain inner is slightly stained on one side with small splits along the edges which have been carefully repaired & is in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two spindle very faint markings on each side, indicating very little play! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run-in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; 2401012 XX 'Porky/Duck', A//3 stamper 1-2-1-4 and B//4 'Porky' stamper 1-1-1-3 (there were no A-1/B-1 or A2/B-2 matrices with this LP!). All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 4 or 5 lp's due to weight restrictions.
