Description
Led Zeppelin IV
1st UK Atlantic (red/maroon) Pressing 1971 Deluxe 2401012
W/ A//3 B//3 MATRIX #'S (The earliest stampers) "pecko duck" & "porky"
Original NM (minus) textured INNER sleeve
RECORD GRADING
Visual - Excellent Minus Wispy Hairlines Minor Paper Scuffs Labels are VERY clean
PlayBack - Strong Excellent This LP hasn't been played a whole lot Very glossy Deep Grooves No distortion of sound from being over played There is a bit of background noise (only apparent in the silence between tracks, and in the quietest of musical moments) ~ the kind of background noise that doesn't get in the way of the music, in my opinion ~ 5 SUBTLE pops (about 1/10th as loud as the music) - not the kind that jump out at you - in the beginning of Stairway To Heaven That's it - otherwise, brilliant
SLEEVE GRADING (Original matt finish gatefold)
Excellent ++ No Ring Ware No fading No splits No creases Almost perfect, with the exception of some very SLIGHT corner rounding (these aren't dings - just mild ware - hardly noticeable)
INNER SLEEVE GRADING
Excellent ++ NO SPLITS ONE small crease (see pics) Record has always been stored OUTSIDE of the original inner, in a separate sleeve

I must point out that there are a few quick 'pops' in the first 6 or 7 seconds of 'Going To California', and a couple more later on in the song (I had failed to mention this in the initial description). I know this is a highly sought after album, and am doing my VERY BEST to provide every exact detail - I've play tested it 3 times now :o I don't want to over grade this album in the hopes of a higher final bid - I just want to be thorough, and honest.
thanks and happy bidding
