Description
Jacket is scored as NM and the vinyl is scored as VG (although the play is more VG+ if not excellent). Jacket is in the shrink (although a bit has come loose within the top left area with a 7cm X 2cm opening near the title stamp, jacket has been placed in a secondary plastic sleeve) and the factory brown bag has not been removed. The top of the bag shows some light wear and is folded back in a couple of spots on the back however it may well have come from the factory this way (it's literally like a brown trash bag and super thin). I can't get the actual jacket out of the bag or through the shrink and this, coupled with no weird basement/improper storage smells leads me to presuming that the jacket is essentially perfect. Insert has not been colored (a light watering will reveal underlying hidden inks; I was tempted). Following a light cleaning I played the album through Grado PS1000e's and the overall sound was excellent producing light surface noise during quiet passages along with a couple of other issues. On the first side I heard two nearly inaudible ticks ('Sound Bound Saurez' and 'Fool In the Rain') however on the B-side there was a series of 8 faint ticks during the middle part of 'Carouselambra' and a couple more during 'All My Love' (these things distraction wise I'd say are 3/10, not screaming and the album never pops or skips) and without question the vinyl has it where it counts. The vinyl has some marks on it from the original paper sleeve (I believe this is what it is) more noticeable on the A Side along with some faint hairline marks. On the B-side I found the two scratches that produced the ticks along with other lesser marks. If I was giving the vinyl letter grades, on the visual I would score it a C- and the play would get a B-. Vinyl will be mailed outside of the jacket and the album will be mailed within cardboard in a Whiplash mailer. If you have any questions please let me know and thank you for looking!
