Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!
As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability. Above all things I am a record collector and music lover. I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late. That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!
I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!

This is the very very 1st press with the unlaminated outer sleeve and smooth Swan Song labels!
It has the 1st press matrix numbers and the very very 1st stampers, making this the closest you will ever get to the master of Led Zeps seminal record!
The record was released in a brown paper bag with a different sleeve in each, lettered from A to F.
Here we have sleeve D.
It comes complete with the elusive outer brown bag with record and all contents in near mint condition throughout!
Its final upgrade time!

Sleeve Condition.
The 1st print ‘D’ unlaminated sleeve is in superb condition! There are no rips, tears, splits or writing to mention! All the edges are straight and crisp with only the very mildest shelf wear to corners. The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release. The spine is readable as it should be. It truly is the best sleeve I have seen for this unbelievably rare record!

Inner Condition.
The 1st press picture card inner is in perfect condition, with no writing, stains or splits to mention! All the edges are nice and sharp and it holds the record perfectly as it should. J

Label Condition.
The first press labels are in fantastic condition. There are no rips, rubbing, writing or stains to mention. There is no centre hole damage at all. Even under a strong light, there is only one invisible spindle to be seen! I reckon this vinyl has been played only the once!

Vinyl Visual Condition.
The record itself looks beautiful! It still retains its factory shine and lustre with no scratches or warping at all. Under a strong halogen bulb only the very slightest almost invisible removal can be seen! Utterly Stunning in every way!

Vinyl Audio Condition.
I played the record through and I must say it sounds superb! There are no pops or clicks, no warping, no skips or jumps, none at all! There was minimal static on the run ins but none that ran into the music, which is sharp and clear! It’s such a bright deep sound that only the first presses can have. The dynamics of the band are easily separable by the ear. You really would be pressed to find a better sound! Final Upgrade1

So there we have it. A mint copy of one of the rarest of rarities out there. A fully complete record that will only appreciate over time and I hasten that this copy is the earliest you will ever find!
