Up for bid are 3 records from my personal collection, Led Zeppelin I, II, and III, being sold together as a lot.

Please see the detailed description below on the conditions of all 3 albums, and the included pictures.  In general, these albums would be great for someone looking to add original early copies of these albums to their collection, in which the vinyl is in great shape, but the covers are worn / not pristine.  I have a tendency to be very conservative with grading and describing the records I sell, as I would rather have someone be very surprised and pleased with the albums rather than being disappointed. The vinyl itself on all 3 of these albums is in great shape, and a pleasure to listen to.

Details:

Led Zeppelin I (Self-titled album)

Label: Atlantic, catalog # SD19126 (1977 re-issue)

Cover grading: VG+. Cover is in great shape, minimal ring wear, the white is slightly yellowed, but artwork is clean and looks good. Some spine wear.

Vinyl grading: VG+. A few light scratches and scuffs, no impact to the sound quality (I have listened to this record multiple times). Vinyl is bright and shiny with lots of luster, very clean, good sound quality. The record was cleaned when I initially acquired it, was placed in a new inner sleeve. The original inner sleeve is not included.

Matrix / dead-wax markings: ST-A-681461 A (side 1), and ST-A-681461 B (side 2)

Led Zeppelin II

Label: Atlantic, catalog # SD8236. Gatefold, 1969 repress (this is the version that was re-mastered after the original mastering caused tracking problems on many record players). Has a gold colored award sticker on the cover.

Cover grading: Good. The cover meets the criteria for being graded as good, but the cover is well worn. Spine is worn through, bottom seam is worn through and had been scotch taped. A previous owner had stamped the number “2331” on the front cover.

Vinyl grading: VG++. A few light scratches and scuffs, no impact to the sound quality. Vinyl is bright and shiny with lots of luster, very clean, good sound quality. I have played / listened to this record multiple times. The record was cleaned when I initially acquired it, was placed in a new inner sleeve. The original inner sleeve is not included.

Matrix / dead-wax markings: STA-671671-J (side 1), and STA-691672-N (side 2)

Led Zeppelin III

Label: Atlantic, catalog # SF7201. Gatefold, die cut cover with pin-wheel, released in 1970.

This is one of the earlier releases that has the phrases “Do what thou wilt” and “So mote be it” etched into the matrix / dead-wax on the vinyl.

Cover grading: VG. Pin-wheel insert in front cover is resent, but the brass rivet is missing. No splits, spine is very worn though. Some yellowing is present on the lighter colors of the artwork.

Vinyl grading: VG++. A few light scratches and scuffs, no impact to the sound quality. Vinyl is bright and shiny with lots of luster, very clean, good sound quality. The record was cleaned when I initially acquired it, was placed in a new inner sleeve. The original inner sleeve is not included.

Matrix / dead-wax markings, Side One: ST-A-702005-B, followed by a crossed out triangle, “Mastercraft PR” in cursive, followed by “Do what thou wilt” in cursive.

Matrix / dead-wax markings, Side Two: The following number is present but crossed out, A-13470-B, and then followed by ST-A-702006-F, “Mastercraft PR” in cursive, followed by ““So mote be it”.
