Description
Original UK Atlantic red & plum label stereo 1st press, with the earliest A-2 B-2 matrices &the second label variant with the 'Lemon Song' & the corrected "Livin' Lovin' Maid, She's A Woman" label text!
The light brown E.J. Day Group matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light edge/storage wear, a small corner tear and some scuffing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact and is in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a very few faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves before the music starts, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; 588198, A-2 stamper 1-1-24 and B-2 stamper 1-3-19 (there were no A-1/B-1 matrices with this LP!). This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!

All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
