Description
Early original UK pressing of the second Led Zeppelin LP, Led Zeppelin II
Original gatefold in a darker brown matte sleeve. A5/B4 matrix endings and “Lemon Song” error on earlier pressings now corrected to “Killing Floor” on labels. Red/Plum Atlantic labels.
Matrix numbers are:
Side 1 - 588 198 V A//5 1 1 1 2
Side 2 - 588 198 V B//4 1 4 7
The record plays great throughout and grades EX. A few very fine paper scuffs when viewed under strong light. No feelable marks or scuffs. It plays really well with some very occasional very light crackle heard in a couple of spaces between tracks but this is genuinely very minimal and unobtrusive on the whole this plays with beautifully loud and clear audio. EX to EX+
The sleeve is VG with edge wear on the spine and a few crinkles. Sticker residue on front cover. No major issues really but looks a bit tatty.
Original inner is VG+ with one side of the plastic having came unstuck. No other issues at all and I will include a brand new poly lined inner with this.
Overall a really decent sounding early UK pressing!
