Led Zeppelin 1 One, First Album, Original UK 1969. Atlantic 588171. Plum label, version 6

According to Discogs this is version 6 of the plum label original 1969 pressing.

Matrix: 588171 A1 588171 B1

Disc Condition:
Audio: There is background crackle through most of the album which varies from track to track, on quiet tracks and passages it is prominent but on louder tracks it is less intrusive.
Despite the crackle the audio is strong and detailed. The lower frequencies (bass, kick etc) are tight and clear, high frequencies are a little raspy but still strong and defined.
No scratches or jumps when played on my system.
Visual: Lots of surface marks.
Labels: Some spindle wear, otherwise bright and clean.

Cover Condition: Some creasing and cracking, edges rubbed, nothing major.
Inner Sleeve: Not sure if this is the original inner but looks contemporary. Some creasing and marks, overall clean.

These original 1969 pressings are now over 50 years old. Pristine copies are expensive!
Despite the crackle this is still a great immersive listen of a classic album. The audio is powerful with a strong defined soundstage.
