Up for sale is one(1) Led Zeppelin - Pb Pure Blues Live LP from Vancouver 1970 in a generic cover with "Pb" stamped in the middle of the cover. SS-19446 stamped in the deadwax. This is historically known as one of the best, if not the best sounding Zep bootleg ever. "Pb" is the Element name for "Lead" in the Periodic Table of the Elements.
This is a SUPER DUPER ULTRA RARE COLLECTIBLE GEM. ONE IN MINT CONDITION RECENTLLY SOLD FOR $800.00. THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF ZEP LP'S.
UNFORTUNATELY SOMEONE MAULED THIS COPY, ONE OF THE MOST COLLECTIBLE ZEP LP'S OF ALL TIME. MY ASKING PRICE REFLECTS THESE ISSUES.
The LP and the Cover have many issues. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY.
This is the condition in which I obtained this LP.
The Vinyl has many surface marks that will cause some pops & clicks along the way and you will hear some surface noise during the quieter parts. There is ONE sticking scratch on SIde 1 / Track 1 that continiously loops. It is a major scratch in the vinyl. I have played this on 3 different turntables and it sticks on each one. It is the only scratch on the LP. There are no other skips(at least not when played on my turntables).
There is also a slight warp that does not effect play. Besides these flaws, I recently played this LP and it still sounds awesome. Despite these many flaws the LP still sounds great.
The generic cover has "Pb" stamped in the middle of the cover and "500" stamped in the upper right corner. I was told that this was limited to 500 copies but I can't confirm that.
Because this is a generic cover and does not mention Led Zeppelin anywhere, a previous owner took it upon himself(or herself) to create his own cover art with pemanent black marker. The front cover has a drawing of a zeppelin with the words boot leg and even mispelling the name as Led Zepplin. How is that even possible? The rear cover includes the owner's review of the LP stating "Jamming Their Ass off"
Nice fairly clean yellow labels with some spindle marks.
