Description
I am selling this fantastic album from my small personal collection. This is one of the first ever UK pressings of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti.
The album has a thick card die cut outer box cover with the 484 Kings Road, London SW10 address at the top. The inner sleeves are thick card with SSK 89400/A and 89400/B stamped in bottom right hand corners (only first pressings had this). The fold out insert is of relatively thick card. The record labels have "Made in UK" and no Warners logo. Critically, the matrix (dead wax) numbers are A1/B4/C1/D1.
These features mark out this album as one of the FIRST EVER UK pressings - highly sought after and very rare (not to be confused with later UK B5 pressings).
Vinyl grading is Excellent. There is a scuff mark on Side 1 close to the label. This does not affect the playing of the album. A few light scratches to vinyl under light. All 4 sides of the album play superbly with no skips. A fantastic 'full' sound, compared to the cd version. Vinyl labels are in near mint condition.
Outer cover has worn through the years, most noticeably on outer spines. Inner sleeves both have slight splits on spine.
Inner sleeve with track listing, 'Printed in England by gothic Print Finishers Ltd. , London SE9 2EQ'. Some 'blots' of discolouration on this white sleeve.
