 LED ZEPPELIN - PHYSICAL GRAFFITI  - IN NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT CONDITION!!

You are bidding on a UK 15-track stunning double vinyl copy of Led Zeppelin’s “Physical Graffiti

housed in the original die-cut picture sleeve with picture inners and card tracklist insert with the following traiits:

1.The sleeve has the 'Swan Song/484 Kings Road, London SW10' on the rear surface(many copies were German)

2. The white inner wrap-round are of thick card with a 'spine' at the bottom. It is a matt finish with a grey card rear surface (some copies have a glossy thinner card with the spine and a white rear surface)
3. The inner sleeves are of thick card (later presses had thinner ones)
4. The labels have  'made in UK' at 9 o'clock

 THE VINYL - APPEARANCE

A really glossy and jet black pair of discs that have lost none of their original lustre. In daylight they look superb and flawless with a gleaming sheen to the surface. Angling the discs into stronger light reveals a few wispy hairlines and a couple of very fine angel hairlines.

THE VINYL: SOUND QUALITY

The album plays superbly all the way through both sides, with the stereo reproduction just crisp and clean with every note being heard exactly how it was intended. No serious background crackle and no loud clicks at all. No vinyl noise and almost no static - just the very odd semi second here and there. For me the play quality is mint minus still. A beautiful copy in top condition!

THE LABELS

The Swan Song labels are in pristine condition. The colours are rich and vibrant and remain un-rubbed. The typeface is perfectly legible, and the spindle hole unworn. I cannot see any spider lines around the holes even using a magnifying glass.

THE SLEEVE:

A very hard sleeve to find in undamaged condition, due to the many die cut holes which are easily damaged, and the un-laminated nature of the delicate areas that get very easily rubbed and even split

The front surface is flat and clean and all of the colours have been retained without rubbing. The die cut windows are all intact and look great. There are no heavy creases or crease lines, and incredibly, there are none of the small lines that gather by the spine.In  this case there are two spines, and there are just none. The left spine has all of the red typeface perfectly legible. It’s flat and clean and is in superb condition with just two tiny scuffs to the top and bottom. The right spine is near perfect with a scuff to the top corner. The rear surface again has all of the dark brown colour intact, and again is un-creased.

Both original inner sleeves are in mint condition. They have SSK 89400 a/b information bottom right corners

This is a really clean example of this sleeve and I am happy to grade it Excellent according to the Rare Record Price Guide
