Description

Physical Graffiti a 1st issue on the UK Swan Song label from 1975. Matrix A1/B5/C1/D1. No Warners logo on the perimeter text which indicates this copy would have been manufactured whilst still in the charts. The records come housed in the original die cut "Cullderstead Ltd" sleeve and with all the original inner sleeves & lyric sheet printed by "Gothic Print Finishers". So, 100% original and 100% complete....and this is one hell of a good playing copy too....
Vinyl (Ex+) Are shiny like new and have clearly seen very minimal use. Under close inspection I can't see more than a couple of very light marks which are not even remotely troublesome. I'm pleased to report that playback is every bit as good as they look - in fact I'd quite happily state this is the best rendition of PG I've ever heard. Intros and inbetweens are very very quiet and the audio comes across with practically no interference at all. I only detected a few crackles in 'Ten Year Gone' and that was really all that was vaguely noticeable. So, it is a tremendously well preserved four sides of 1975 vinyl. Needless to say the actual audio is really fantastic...Bold, rich, and with full range...It really is a treat to listen too.
Cover (Vg) Exhibits a reasonable amount of edge wear, but as you can see from the pictures it still remains intact and in very good condition. All the surfaces are nice and clean and there's no ripping to any of the windows. The really only noticeable wear is to the edges and spine [including a 1 inch split].
Inners (Vg+) Again, they are all in, at least, very good condition. Surfaces are all pretty clean and there's no bending or creasing. Please not there are are a couple of side splits on each of the inners, but none greater than an inch. Otherwise perfectly intact.
