*I am currently selling a collection of Heavy Metal and rock LPs, predominantly from the mid 70’s to the early 90’s but with the odd outlier thrown in. All well looked after and some real rarities. I combine shipping and always remove the vinyl from the sleeve before packing and posting. Where anything other than a generic white inner is present, the vinyl is always placed in a brand new white inner to preserve the original. Brand new ‘clear glass’ plastic sleeves are added to all LPs. I describe items accurately as I know how disappointing it is to receive a much anticipated record where flaws have been glossed over or gone unmentioned. I try to listen to each record before describing it but if I don’t have time I will listen to selected parts to gauge the level of background noise and I will always listen to any passages where there are surface marks to judge the impact these have. I always give positive feedback after payment so the customer is able to give feedback purely judged on the service once they have received the item. Swan song 1975

A stunning copy of Led Zeppelin’s sixth studio album and for many, the pinnacle of the band’s career.

This copy has all the attributes of a 1975 1st pressing. Crucially there is no evidence of the Warner logo on any of the four labels (The first Swansong release to have the Warner logo on the label was ‘Presence’ in 1976, so any copies of Physical Graffiti with Warner logos are likely to be 1976 represses). The sleeve on this copy is in Excellent condition - really well preserved. (The bump visible on the back of the main sleeve on the photos is a recent addition unfortunately!). There is very little if any storage or handling wear and the die cut windows are Mint. The Mint spine is beautifully square and the red titles stand out very pleasingly.

The card inners with correct catalogue numbers are beautifully preserved and in Mint condition - the vinyls have been stored (and continue to be) in plain white polylined inners.

The insert is Excellent+. The same bump that appears on the back of the main sleeve manifests itself on the insert as very light creasing - otherwise it would be Near Mint - again, a beautifully preserved example.

The vinyls are visually stunning and the audio is Mint. Clearly they have been barely played at all. Amazing examples with no background static and incredible clarity.

Overall a fantastic copy of the first issue.

First pressing has labels without Warner logo (W) on rim text.

The original die-cut "windows" cover has "SWAN SONG/484 KINGS ROAD, LONDON SW10" address at the top on back.

The set contains two custom inners with code "SSK 89400/A" for disc 1 and "SSK 89400/B" for disc 2 on bottom right back corner, plus a 2-page folded insert that has songs titles, credits, and text "Sleeve printed and made in England by Gothic Print Finishers Ltd., London SE9 2EQ".

Original cover & inners are smooth on the outside and textured/rough on the inside.

Insert: Satin finish to front and back, thick in quality, with a SINGLE fold to the bottom (not to be confused with the later re-issue inserts from the late 70s which are shiny, very thin, and have 2 folds). This is the rarest insert type, and existed on the first few copies only - as identified by the different shines to the colours under light (current to the printing processes available in 1975), satin finish and SINGLE fold.
