Description
Led Zeppelin S/T 1969 Album 1st Press Vinyl LP Turquoise Lettering Misprint.
Beautiful first pressing of the self-titled Led Zeppelin LP from 1969. This is a first pressing with the turquoise lettering on the sleeve.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition, with only a little light creasing as pictured in pictures 2 and 4. There is no spine or edge wear, so for it’s age is in superb order.
The record I would describe as Very Good Plus, one or two tiny light hairlines, and one circular line across the circumference of the A-side, look to have been caused by a faulty needle making a line around the record. This is mostly around track two on the A-side. Aside from this, the record has a beautiful shine and appears as fresh as the day it left the factory.
The play quality is excellent, with no skips, jumps, sticks and barely any surface noise. Again, as fresh as the day it left the factory.
This is the Misprint copy with the incorrect Superhype label credits on the first side label, listing songs 1, 3 and 4 as Superhype Music and 3 again as Jewel music.
An amazing example of an extremely rare record that would look beautiful in anyones collection. Open to sensible offers.
