Perfect?>>>>> PRACTICALLY, yes.
This is the sort of copy where I would happily recommend it to someone who already ha a really nice Ex/Ex copy. the reason being that this highly collectable title/band requires the absolute 'best copy'....and this EXAMPLE....will smoke anything you put against it in an instant!
An original 1st issue from the chart phase. Matrix 1/3/3/4. Comes housed in that iconic cover printed in England with photo pages..Cover is textured and embossed. Both black inners with elliptical tabs. The 1st issue from GB are WAY nicer than all other copies...by some margin...100% genuine and 100% complete. Rare? no not particularly...but harder to find one ticking ALL boxes across the board. THIS THING IS PRSTINE FOR COVER AND AUDIO.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could barely make out a cingle mark...super lustre,,,. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a straightforward EXCELLENT+ level of playback. ACROSS 4 SIDES... Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A clean player throughout - nothing in the background. Fantastic depth in the mix. Unfortunately many copies just will not manage that. The noise floor is so low that i can make out the individual whistles in the audience during No QTR... Even the lowkey tracks play back great.. A truly well preserved original and hard to find fault. One of the cleanest renditions I have EVER heard. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PERFECTION...then you just found it...
Cover (Ex+) Well, what are the chances of ACTUALLY finding this title from '76 in proper Ex+ condition....I would say it is close to Zero! I don't think I have ever seen one look like it is pulled straight from the shop shelf in '76. This thing has the rigidity of a cover --- which has never really been handled...I would argue that is highly unusual ....Very smart clean surfaces with barely a whiff of evidence of use......MANY are nowhere close to this level...Look how good it looks!. NO surface wear!!! I mean c'mon...that is ridiculous!!!. No edge wear and sharp openings. Text fully legible - spine is literally 100% intact.... Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Superb! Internal pages ae crisp still!
