Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same SSL89402 2 LP’s/booklet 1st Press A1/B2/C2/D3 Excellent I have owned since new.

Sleeve: Gatefold sleeve with an attached 8 page colour booklet inside. The main sleeve has minor edge wear The booklet is as new.
Inner sleeves: These are Plain black inners and in excellent condition apart from the glue separating down one edge on one of the inners. I haven’t re-glued but easily done if preferred.
Vinyl: Both discs have a great sheen to them and based on observations below I would therefore rank as Excellent.
Side 1: a few very light surface marks seen under certain light. Side 2: similar to one but one of the light marks goes across the last two tracks Side 3 and 4: a few very light surface marks seen under certain light
I have just played this on my Linn/SME/NAIM system and wow! What a great listen. The record has fantastic sound and clarity and the drums/bass and guitar sounds are fantastic and so clear and tight.
Of course no skips/jumps.
Being critical: Sides 1 & 2 are pretty great with only occasional very light pop/crackle Side 3: has a bit of surface noise at start of Track 1 which has really quiet sections and light crackles through the side. Side 4: sounds pretty good but Moby Dick and Whole Lotta Love are pretty loud tracks so if there were any crackles they are hidden!

As for comment on Discog: This version has an additional Side 1 runout variation where as well as having SSK 89402 A1 stamped, it also has SSK 89401 A2 stamped but that text is struck-through. Runout for Side 2 is SSK 89402 B2 with what also looks like an etched capital D on it's own.
