Description
Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin ii
Atlantic 1969
Early press with red and plum labels.
John Paul Jones writing credited to ‘Baldwin’ (his real name) on side two but to ‘Jones’ on Side 1.
The Lemon Song is called ‘Killing Floor’ on the label but has original name on the sleeve - inside the gatefold.
Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's a Woman) in gatefold sleeve and Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's Just a Woman) on label.
Despite some visible surface marks, there are no deep scratches and this is a sound, clean copy with a good shine to the vinyl. Some background static and a bit of crackle hear and there in quieter parts but plays through well with no skips or jumps.
The Gatefold sleeve is robust and retains vibrancy, particularly internally, with very little of the usual ringwear visible. There are two partially erased penned asterisks next to the first two songs listed in the sleeve - barely visible.
Overall a great copy of an all time classic LP.
