Description
Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin ll (Led Zepellin 2)" Atlantic SD-8236, very rare first-pressing mastered by Robert Ludwig - known as a HOT press - (apparently the bass is so pronounced that the tone arms on lower-end equipment would jump tracks), and so it was withdrawn early (people returned them thinking they were defective), 1969, both sides of the vinyl are VG / VG+ with a few scuffs / scratches but nothing terrible at all, labels are super-clean, matrix for Side One = ST-A -691671 A LW W AT RL, matrix for Side Two = ST-A-691672 A P LW AT RL SS W, the cover is a remarkable Near Mint, comes with the original Atlantic advertisement inner sleeve, RL appears in both sides' dead wax, the SS (for Sterling Sound) is only visible on the Side 2 run-out, this is a "Presswell" pressing, respectable keeper.
