1975 World Tour-LP
Amazing Kornyfone 2960-stereo33 1/3 rpm 2 LP set by Led Zeppelin on the old Amazing Kornyfone record label. The music in this set was recorded on February 2, 1975 at the Montreal Forum in Canada. Legend has it that these recordings were made by two guys from a Yonge Street record shop. Live recordings from this era typically do not stand up to current standards. Online sources describe this set as a 'fair to good' audience recording. Our take is that the highs and mids are pretty good, but the bass sound is muddy. The rarity of the material, and the collectability of this vintage vinyl set will be the main drawing cards for many Zep fans. The following is quoted from the Wikipedia website:

Heavy vinyl discs have plain black labels with no print at all. (Tiny numbers scratched into the dead wax tell you which side is which, numbered from 1-4.) Disc one is Near Mint, while disc two has a one inch spindle mark that causes a repeating noise for the first 30 seconds of "Dazed & Confused". Overall, vinyl plays well with some crackling at the start of the first cuts, which then recedes greatly behind the music.
