Description
Led Zeppelin,Led Zeppelin III,LP, Catalogue Number: (2401002), Cover Details: Fully laminated rotating gatefold sleeve with a Plain inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.
Any Other Details: Original first pressing, on the orange and plum Atlantic record label. Matrix numbers A-5 with 'Do What Thou Wilt (hand etched) & B-5 with 'So Mote It Be'. The label has no hyphen in the in the record number and Peter Grant credits on both sides. The sleeve has a fully working wheel, it has yellowed at the edges and has a graze in the laminate at the spine. This record has been listened to and on our record player it played without any jumps or sticks. Side one looks and sounds excellent, side two has three long feelable marks, which cause crackles at the start of track one, ticking between tracks one and two, which continues throughout track two. Track three has a few light crackles, there are some light crackles at the very end of track five
