Description
- Excellent copy of the very hard to find original 1956 deep groove Storyville LP "Lee Konitz At Storyville" (Storyville STLP 901).
- This great LP features Lee Konitz (alto sax), Peter Ind or Percy Heath (bass), Jeff Norton or Al Levitt (drums) and Ronnie Ball (piano).
- The tracklist is: Nursery Rhyme/Bop Goes The Leesel/317 East 32nd Street/Mean To Me/I’ll Remember April/Limehouse Blues/Easy Livin’/Skylark/Hi Beck/These Foolish Things/Sound Lee/Subconscious Lee.
- The LP retains most of the original gloss and the playback is crisp and clear with some light occasional surface noise. There is one scratch that is audible on the A side but is not at all overwhelming even though it goes from the edge to the inner dead wax. If it weren’t for this I would have rated the LP near mint as the rest of it has just a few light marks and some light occasional surface noise. The cover is in beautiful condition with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts and just some light wear.
- NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
- In the US, the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.00) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail shipping and handling to Canada is $8.00. All other locations outside the US are $15.00. Good luck!
