Description

This is the 2009 Music Matters Jazz reissue of Candy by Lee Morgan, originally released by Blue Note Records.  This one is presented on 2x45rpm vinyl which helps to provide the absolute best audio quality and widest possible representation of the master tape, especially with regards to bass response.  The Music Matters 45 series represent the apex of the Blue Note series, with high faulty pressings on an all analog chain mastered by Kevin Gray.  Candy is also a very difficult and very expensive original to find, so these audiophile reissues help to provide a second chance to Morgan's great catalog in a whole new way.  This is limited edition 0841.
