Description
Lee Morgan, Cornbread, LP, Jazz, VG, mono. 1967 Blue Note release, BLP 4222, record looks good, shiny, no scratches, has occasional very light background noise but plays well. The cover is nice, slight ring wear on top, bottom and right side, no seam splits, back of cover has a small 3/67 written in upper right corner indicating when album was originally purchased. Would rate record and cover VG. Thanks for looking.
On Oct-18-21 at 10:49:18 PDT, seller added the following information:Record history: Album was purchased new during March 1967 by my wife’s grandfather who was a stereo buff and jazz fan. He played the record on a well maintained Empire turntable and the album probably didn’t receive too much play since he had hundreds of records. On his passing in 2006, the records were stored in a climate controlled building by my father-in-law until I took possession of them in 2020. They are now kept in a smoke-free home. Information about the records comes from a series of notebooks kept by Grandfather Dewey which list purchase dates as well as record info.
