Description
The 2 record set of Lee Morgan, Live at the Lighthouse (Hermosa Beach, California) is from the closing of a local estate with a collection of over 3000 (mostly jazz) LPs. The gatefold shows age-related shelf wear with a scuff mark on the front & the upper right corner is notched, but the records themselves are in very good+ condition. The gentleman had his own filing system of his collection & every sleeve and/or box is labeled. You can see that label along with the scuff mark & the notch in the photos that I've uploaded.
Recorded at The Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach, California, on July 10, 11 & 12, 1970.
Blue Labels that have White B, used 1975-79.
VAN GELDER stamp is in run out
Catalog Number in the Dead Wax: BNST-89906.
Copies with VAN GELDER Stamped into the Dead Wax were Cut from Rudy Van Gelder's Masters.
I am NOT any kind of an expert in grading vinyl LPs but try to visually judge the condition according to the standards that I see other sellers using. I am not a collector or aficionado, I'm merely closing out an estate, so if you have ANY questions, please feel free to email...
