Lee Morgan - The Gigolo. RARE 1969 Blue Note Jazz. BST 84212.
This TERRIFIC Blue Note album, recorded by the master Rudy Van Gelder, features Wayne Shorter and Billy Higgins. Top shelf jazz.
The sleeve is a strong VG. It has a small amount of corner/spine wear, and a small number written on the back. The color on the front is bright, and the white on the back isn’t yellowing.
The vinyl, visually, is a strong VG. Some very light marks that don’t impact play. The album plays STRONG VG+ to NM. No clicks or pops. It plays flawlessly. Has the Van Gelder stamp on both sides of the runout.
The original inner sleeve is here as well, though we have the vinyl stored in an archival sleeve.
The album will be properly packaged, with corner protection, and shipped with insurance. While it will be very well packaged, we can’t do anything to stop warping from the heat. So please make sure it’s being shipped to a location where it won’t be sitting outside. Thanks!!
