Using the grading system in Goldmine's latest Price Guide I would grade this record VG+, with the sleeve rated VG. The record is shiny, with a very minimal amount of slight scratches. It plays well, with no skipping, and good tone quality. the label is pristine, with no spindle dancing marks, no writing and no stickers. The outer sleeve has some issues at the corners, and I have photographed them close-up for you to examine. There are no splits in the seams, and no staining. The inner sleeve is generic, and not a Blue Note original.
The label has the New York USA address, and the dead wax contains the "ear" embossing along with the name Van Gelder. The back side of the outer sleeve carries the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address. I believe these attributes make this a First Pressing release.
