Description

Lee Morgan               Volume 3      mono    Blue Note 1557      Toshiba Japan w insert   Beautiful Japanese pressing

 Lee Morgan (t), Benny Golson (ts and arrangements), Gigi Gryce (as), Wynton Kelly (p), Paul Chambers (b), Charlie Persip (d) Recorded 1957

 The record looks and plays M-.  No scuffs and no scratches.  Grooves are bright, glossy and  do not show wear or damage and look unplayed or nearly so.  A nice copy.

 The cover is VG++.

    The front cover looks bright with a slight hint of ring wear.  There's a small dent at the top of the pocket and a very tiny dent at the bottom. The back cover is shiny and clean.  No split seams.   Spine is intact and readable.

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY.  PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
