Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “The Rumproller” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4199. This pressing is unusual in that the Plastylite “P” appears only on Side 2.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; slight 5/8” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Joe Henderson, Ronnie Mathews, Victor Sproles, and Billy Higgins.  $150.00.
